Diving in Cancun is an unequalled experience due to the fact that the surrounding area features shallow waters, great visibility and a marvelous coral reef. Snorkeling in Cancun is also a very popular and fun activity.
Some of the best reefs to dive in Cancun are Banderas, Chitales and El Bajito, located in northern Punta Cancun. For the more experienced diver we recommend San Toribio, San Miguel and Aristos on the eastern side of Cancun, or La Boya de los Locos close to Punta Nizuc. All the locations have an abundance of life and color and make for really exciting dives.
