Attractions: Xcaret Apiary (Bees Farm)

In the Xcaret apiary you can get to meet the amazing Maya bees, which are stingless and protected in this special area.

The bee-farm, in the Botanical Garden, is dedicated to breeding Melipona (beecheii bee), known by the Mayas as Xuna Kab (Queen Bees).

These noble bees produce a high quality, perfumed honey.
