Attractions: Turtle Farm

Here you can meet between four and seven species of turtle that nest in the coast of Mexico, including white turtles, caguama turtles, carey turtles and lora turtles. You will have the chance to see them at different stages in their life, ranging from newly born little turtles to huge adult turtles swimming around in the natural ponds. Since 1996, Xcaret has actively participated in the protection and preservation of turtles through research studies coordinated with government institutions, as well as with national and international research centers.
