Xel-Ha is renowned worldwide for its geological characteristics that combine the richness of its waters with the beauty of its landscapes. Multicolored tropical fish swim freely in its inlet, cenotes and river.
Lots of attractions have been incorporated to enrich the park. Some of the many attractions at Xel-Ha include a tree nursery with the exotic flora of the region, an apiary with ''melipona'' bees whose honey has medicinal properties, and a turtle camp where year after year this beautiful species come to lay their eggs.
