Every child that visits Xel-Ha will find a safe place to run, play and have fun in the park. Even the toddlers have a specially designated aquatic area, and there is a pool for babies.
The Children's Playground has slides, swings, handrails and tires.
In the area where the Children's Playground is located, kids can watch "Kay-Op" and "Huh", a Parrot Fish and an Iguana, considered by the Maya as the guardians of Xel-Ha.
The Environment Department organizes tours for school groups so children can learn and have fun in the environment that surrounds them.
