Fishing technical terms

Graphite rod.The graphite is used to make fishing rods because of its high resistance and flexibility.

Backing-line.It is how the line is called while it is still coiled up around the reel that is the line that hasn't come out of the reel.

Floating-line. It is the line that comes out from the reel and has contact with the water, once the angler has casted.

Leaders . Is a thick line that goes along with the main line, receives all the tension produced by the fish struggle and avoids the main line to break.

Tippets. It is the last piece of transparent line that goes on the leader.

Yosuri, Rappala, Lure, Jig, Spoon . They are different kinds of lures going from hard to soft having many sorts of shapes, sizes, weighs and colors.

Nickeline. Is a metal piece of about 8 inches that covers the end of the tippet avoiding sharp teeth fish to break the line.
