Hacienda Santa Cruz is a beautiful traditional Mexican estate dating back to the 17th century. Set in a charming rural neighborhood just outside the colonial city of Merida, it sits on more than 17 acres of land, including lush garden areas, thick stone walls, restored buildings and ruins of some of the hacienda's original constructions.
The hacienda strives to maintain the original architecture throughout the property, especially in the luxurious and charming guestrooms and suites, where you'll find furnishings made of tropical woods along with traditional wrought iron detailing. The hacienda is made up of nine beautiful guestrooms and suites, all situated in the main house. The arches that open up into the rooms are tall enough that people used to be able to bring in horses, and the rest of the 17th century architecture includes thick walls, vaulted ceilings and corridors made of stone slabs.
Hacienda Santa Cruz features three distinct areas. The first is the main machinery room, where you'll find a refreshing pool, a bar, the hotel's restaurant and terrace, and a spacious courtyard area. The second area is the main house, which holds the beautiful guestrooms. Finally, you'll come across the chapel, ideal for conferences, conventions and social events.
