The Sandos Playacar Riviera Hotel and Spa is located less than one block away from the Caribbean Sea, in the Riviera Maya, a beautiful stretch of coast with several Mayan archeological sites. The hotel is in Playacar, a residential development that features upscale facilities such as an 18-hole golf course by Robert van Hagge.
The property is very close to lively 5th. Avenue in Playa del Carmen, where the dock to Cozumel Island is located. Cancun International Airport is about 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen. |
| How to get there: |
From Cancun International Airport:
1. Take the only exit road towards Cancun.
2. Continue on that road for approximately 2 kilometers.
3. You will see a bridge and in the right side the exit to the main highway Cancun-Playa del Carmen. Take this road southwards and keep on going straight for approximately 60 kilometers.
5. After the third traffic light on the road you will find the sign inviting you to Playacar, make a "U" turn to the left and you will see a big sign on stones at the access.
6. Go into the residential area until you find the first round about. Turn to the right and keep on going until you see the entrance to the Sandos Playacar Riviera Hotel and Spa.
